Chains

Q Do Chains come in a variety of lengths?.

A Yes, but only lengths available are shown – usually from 40cm and longer.

Q Do chains have matching bracelets and anklets?.

A Some Chains have matching bracelets and anklets – these are shown in lengths – 19cm for bracelets, 25cm for anklets.

Q Can I wear a number of chains together?.

A Yes – they look especially good with different length chains, and silver and gold worn together are very effective.

Q Can I wear a pendant on my chain?.

A Yes – but make it appropriate to the chain weight – not a heavy pendant on a fine chain.

Charms look good too.

Gold ones will have the ring soldered shut and can be worn immediately.

Silver charms need to have the ring soldered shut.

Q Do the bracelets have matching chains and anklets?.

A Some bracelets have matching Chains and anklets – these are shown in lengths – 19cm for bracelets, 25cm for anklets, 40cm and above for chains.

Q How do I make a Charm Bracelet?.

A Buy a bracelet with open links – if you want a lot of charms, use a heavier bracelet.

Buy your charms and have a jeweller solder them on.

Add a padlock catch and safety chain for security – especially if it is gold.

Q Can I wear a number of bracelets together?.

A Yes – they look especially good with different weight bracelets.

Anklets

Q Do the anklets have matching chains and bracelets?.

A Some anklets have matching Chains and bracelets – these are shown in lengths – 19cm for bracelets, 25cm for anklets, 40cm and above for chains.

Q Can I put a charm on my anklet?.

A Yes, but make it suitable for the weight of the anklet – not a heavy charm on a light chain.

A jewellery will solder the link so the charm does not drop off.

General

Q My silver jewellery goes black.

What is wrong with it? Is it not very good quality?.

A Silver jewellery tarnishes from the acids in your skin, and from products your hands come in contact with.

It is not a sign of quality, as the better quality is more likely to tarnish.

All jewellery marked .925 is sterling silver.

Simply clean with a good silver jewellery cleaner and polish with a silver cloth.

Keep cleaning when it tarnishes, and eventually it will not tarnish as much.

Q Can I wear my silver and gold jewellery together?.

A Yes, they look very effective together.

Q Should I sleep in my jewellery?.

A It is not recommended.

Q Will housecleaning products affect my jewellery?.

A Yes, many products will tarnish both silver and gold jewellery, It is recommended you remove your jewellery before using them.

Cleaning

Q How do I clean my silver jewellery?.

A Buy a silver jewellery cleaner, pour some into a small container, and place jewellery in solution.

(If you have a large container of cleaner, do not pour used solution back into container.

Keep in a small container and use until not effective.

Do not pollute clean solution.) When jewellery is clean, rinse in clean water and polish with silver cleaning cloth.

Q How do I clean my gold jewellery?.

A Gold jewellery can be cleaned in silver jewellery cleaner, or soak in warm water and Ammonia.

Rinse and polish.

Q How do I clean my jewellery with gemstones?.

A Clean in the appropriate cleaner, and gently brush the back of the stone with a soft brush.

As the lights comes through the back of the stone, it needs to be clean to allow it to sparkle.

Charms

Q Why do my gold charms have the rings soldered shut? How can I attach them to my charm bracelet?.

A Charms are purchased with rings soldered shut so the rings are not lost.

They can then be worn immediately as pendant or added to sleepers.

Your jewellery will simply cut the ring and resolder it onto the bracelet.

Q Are the charms solid or hollow?.

A Charms are solid unless stated as being hollow.

Q What other ways can I wear my charms?.

A As pendants, slip onto sleepers, on anklets.

On you phone or key ring.

Q How do I choose my charms?.

A Charms are chosen to commemorate events in your life – wedding charms for wedding, baby charms for having had a baby, to suit the career you have, or just because you like them.

You may have a theme bracelet.

Q My charm bracelet is quite valuable.

How do I make it more secure?.

A Add a padlock and safety chain.

Buy one of ours and have your jeweller attach it.

A All jewellery is shown with the gemstones available.

Prices may vary with the different gemstones, so if the stone you want is not available in the item you are looking at, it may be shown separately as the price is different.

Check all the pictures as the gemstones available will the shown on each picture.

These Gemstones are available with a description – colours range from pale to dark.

The crystal gemstones have healing properties.

CZ – Cubic Zirconia: man made Diamond – a high quality stone usually clear but can be coloured. Gar – Garnet – red natural gemstone
